Owatonna Pharmacy Care provides online prescription ordering

OWATONNA, Minn. 11/17/2008-- In response to the recent moves of Owatonna Clinic's Urgent Care Department and their Family Medicine Department to the 26th Street facility, Owatonna Pharmacy Care, part of Allina Community Pharmacies, will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Owatonna Pharmacy Care is located inside the Owatonna Clinic Southview location.

For greater convenience, patients can transfer or refill prescriptions online, or by phone, and have it mailed to their homes at no extra charge. Or, patients can pick up their prescription at Owatonna Pharmacy Care Monday through Friday, or have their prescriptions delivered free to their homes.

For new prescriptions, an order signed by one's physician is required, which can be faxed by the physician's office, mailed or dropped off in person.

The Owatonna Pharmacy Care staff has expertise in special-medication needs, including organ transplant, diabetes, infertility, pediatrics, oncology and management of multiple medications.

Discounts on medications are offered to seniors, age 62 years and older.
