Orthopedic surgeons Dana Harms, MD, and David Labadie, MD, join Allina Medical Clinic - Buffalo

Buffalo, Minn 10/01/2007--

Allina Medical Clinic - Buffalo is pleased to welcome Dana Harms, MD and David Labadie, MD orthopedic surgeons, as well as Gilson de Sousa, PA to its medical staff. They join Nick Mueller, PA in providing a team approach to orthopedic care at the clinic.

Harms is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, completing his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He lives with his family in St. Michael and sees the area as progressive, but still maintaining the lifestyle and values of a small town. "I'm committed to this community, to bringing exceptional orthopedic care to my friends and neighbors," says Harms. "We can do state-of-the-art orthopedic procedures at Buffalo Hospital, close to home, and provide the follow up care in the community as well."

Labadie is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School, doing internships at both the Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota and residency at the U. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship, knee and shoulder arthroscopy at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.  Labadie lives in the area with his family and is originally from Bemidji. "I like being able to provide big city care in a smaller community," says Labadie. "It gives you a chance to take a little more time getting to know your patients and with our team approach, we provide very personalized care.  We strive to match the expectations of our patients with options for care to provide excellent outcomes."

Certified physician assistants Gilson de Sousa and Nick Mueller are an important part of the orthopedic team.  They serve as an additional link for patients and are involved in assisting the physicians and helping in patient care. "I'm happy to be part of a team that will provide complete care to patients, with a personal touch and great availability," says de Sousa who has a sports background and lives in Buffalo with his family.  Mueller has been providing orthopedic care for the past two years at Allina Medical Clinic - Buffalo.
