Buffalo Hospital Foundation launches telephone campaign to build new Birth Center

Buffalo, MN 09/24/2009--

Buffalo Hospital Foundation is launching a telephone fundraising campaign Monday, Sept. 28 through Nov. 14, to raise money to help build a new Birth Center at Buffalo Hospital. We are just $275,000 away from reaching our $1 million goal.

The new Birth Center is an investment in our community and public support is essential to add an extra measure of excellence to the healing environment we want to create. The current Birth Center was built in 1980, remodeled nearly a decade ago and is now undersized to meet community standards and the growing needs of Wright County.

Buffalo Hospital is breaking ground on a new Birth Center Monday, Sept. 28, and adding a second story to take maternity care to another level. With this expansion, the Buffalo Hospital Birth Center will not only double in size, but our patients and their families will immediately notice many impressive upgrades and new amenities. Allina Hospitals and Clinics, Buffalo Hospital’s parent company, has made this a priority by investing $6.1 million. We are seeking $1 million in community support to ensure the vision becomes reality and critical components of the project are fully funded.

We hope you will consider a gift to the Birth Center Capital Campaign. You can make a difference for families as they welcome new members to their family at Buffalo Hospital. Questions about the Birth Center project or the Capital Campaign can be directed to Karla Heeter at 763-684-6808. Gifts to the Birth Center can be mailed to: Buffalo Hospital Foundation, 303 Catlin Street, Buffalo, MN 55313
