Heart Failure Support Group meets Jan. 28
Coon Rapids, MN 01/12/2009--Anyone living with, or caring for someone with heart failure, is invited to a Heart Failure Support Group meeting, Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Mercy Hospital's Heart and Vascular Center, in the lower level classrooms.
Guest speaker, Katie Hiscock, a pharmacy resident, will talk about medications vital to living with heart failure. The more you know about medications and how they work, the easier it is for patients to stay on track. There will be plenty of time for questions and talking with others living with heart failure.
Please bring a low-sodium Super Bowl recipe to share. We will make copies so everyone goes home with new ideas for a healthy treat.

The Heart Failure Support Group meets four times a year. It is a collaboration between Mercy Hospital Cardiac Rehab, Metropolitan Cardiology Consultants and the Alliance for Heart Failure Patients. Mercy Hospital is located at 4050 Coon Rapids Blvd., Coon Rapids, MN 55433.
