Public is invited to free seminar by Minneapolis Heart Institute physicians
MINNEAPOLIS 06/14/2010--The Minneapolis Heart Institute and Abbott Northwestern Hospital invite the public to a free presentation on Tuesday, June 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Westin Edina Galleria.
The Beat Goes On: Understanding Your Heart begins with registration, blood pressure and body mass index checks from 6 to 6:30. Heart specialists and dietitians will be available to answer questions.
William Katsiyiannis, M.D., and Robert Hauser, M.D., of the Minneapolis Heart Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital will make presentations and answer questions from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Dr. Katsiyiannis, an electrophysiologist, will discuss atrial fibrillation symptoms and treatments. Dr. Hauser, a cardiologist, will provide an overview of current cardiovascular medications.
