Abbott Northwestern seeks volunteers for high blood pressure study
MINNEAPOLIS 02/17/2009--Abbott Northwestern Hospital's Penny George Institute for Health and Healing seeks volunteers age 55 and over for a systolic hypertension (high blood pressure) study.
You can take a more active role in your health care, gain early access to new drugs and treatments, obtain expert medical care, and help others by contributing to medical research.
- Individuals with high systolic blood pressure, but normal or low diastolic blood pressure, may be eligible to participate.
- Physical exam, blood tests and stress-management training will be provided at no cost.
- Subjects will be compensated for time and travel.
