Free blood pressure checks and more during Nurses Week at Buffalo Hospital
BUFFALO, Minn. 04/27/2009--In celebration of Nurses Week, Buffalo Hospital is inviting the community to stop in for a mini-health fair, Monday, May 4 between 8 to 10 a.m.; 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Tables will be set up at the Surgery Center entrance in the morning and afternoon, and in the main entrance during all three time slots.
Nurses will check your blood pressure and provide information to help you stay healthy. Buffalo Hospital also invites those with an interest or questions about nursing to come in and talk with our nurses. Nursing offers opportunities for people with a varied interests and strengths. Nurses work in hospitals, clinics, schools, long-term care facilities and in research and education. About 250 nurses work in a variety of roles at Buffalo Hospital.

Nurses across the county will celebrate Nurses Week beginning May 4 with the theme – Nurses: Building a Healthy America. This theme reflects the commitment nurses make every day for their patients and communities.
