CPR Anytime course free at St. Francis
SHAKOPEE, Minn. 06/14/2007--On July 17, St. Francis Regional Medical Center will partner with Allina's Heart Safe Communities to present a CPR Anytime Friends & Family/AED course.
The 90-minute course will teach lifesaving skills in case of an emergency. It not a certification course, and participants will not receive a CPR card. However it will teach basic adult and child cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), choking and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Each attendee will practice on their own manikin. Small groups will work with an instructor and have access to an AED-trainer for practice.
The class is scheduled from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Justice & Joy Conference Rooms in St. Francis Regional Medical Center. Class size is limited, so call the ‘Ask St. Francis’ information line at 952-403-2000 to reserve your space.
