Allina's Mercy Hospital screening helps women know their hearts' health
COON RAPIDS, Minn. 01/25/2010--
Mercy Hospital's Women's Heart Health event includes a relatively inexpensive cardiovascular screening. Participants will receive a fasting full-lipid profile and blood sugar, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) and ankle brachial index (ABI).

The Women's Heart Health event is Saturday, Feb. 27, from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Mercy Heart & Vascular Center in the Lower Level Conference Room. Cost is $30 and participation is by appointment only. Appointments last about 30 minutes.
