Meet Minnesota Viking Cheerleaders at Buffalo Hospital Foundation’s Fishing Tournament and Silent Auction

Buffalo, MN 55313 08/11/2009--

Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders will make an appearance at the Buffalo Hospital Foundation fishing tournament and silent auction Saturday, Sept. 19. Everyone is welcome to stop by and meet the Viking cheerleaders from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Sturges Park on Buffalo Lake.

Fantastic items up for bid in the silent auction include a cabin get-away, Victory Motorcycle bar table, autographed Antoine Winfield photo, a diamond willow walking stick, a Buffalo Fire Department birthday party and much more. The silent auction is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Big cash prizes are on the line for those who want to fish. Prizes are awarded in each category (Northern, walleye and bass): first place winners take home $500, second place winners receive $300 and third place winners catch $100. You can sign up by calling 763-684-6801 or register the day of the event. Registration is $100 for a two-person/one-boat team. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., fishing starts at 8 a.m. and the weigh-in at 1:30.

All proceeds from the tournament and silent auction will help purchase comfortable recliners and pullout sleepers for dads and families in Buffalo Hospital’s new Birth Center.
